Great weather, blue skies, and that big beautiful lake surrounded by desert mountains are what make Lake Havasu a place not soon forgotten. These elements go together like perfectly fitting puzzle pieces and it all adds up to fun.

Many people think you have to own a boat or waverunners to come and enjoy the lake. Actually, all you need is a swimsuit and a beach towel, Lake Havasu has several very nice beaches and parks along the lake. Even our dogs have a beautiful dog park right on the channel at London Bridge Beach.
And if you want to go boating, no problem. Small paddleboats (under the London Bridge), kayaks, waverunners, power boats of all shapes and sizes, and houseboats are available for rent.
You can go fast or you can go slow, or both! The choice is yours.

There really is something for everyone in Havasu. That’s why so many people spend their weekends, winters, and vacations here and a lot of times come back to stay.

Different people come to Havasu for different reasons. We have the summer party crowd, the summer family crowd, the spring breakers, the winter snowbirds, and of course tourists here to see the London Bridge or vacationers to relax and just lay on the beach and soak up the rays.
Havasu's a great community made up of people from every state in the union, and some natives too. I moved to Havasu in 1971, graduated from Lake Havasu High School in 1974, I've left a couple of times but came back after a few months, Havasu is my hometown. It grows on you!
