Lake Havasu parks are open from daybreak until 10:30 p.m.
Rotary Park is on the mainland just south of the London Bridge and Bridgewater Channel - from Hwy 95 turn towards the lake at the Smoketree traffic light and you'll drive straight into it.
London Bridge Beach is on the Island - just turn left at either of the first two lefts you see once you cross over the bridge.

Rotary Park
Okay, I'm going to have to go get some better pictures because these just don't do the park justice.  There is LOTS of green grass, a walking path that goes all the way to the London Bridge,  a long sandy beach, covered picnic tables with BBQs, lighted beach volleyball, lighted softball fields, lighted RC race track, a skate park, children's playgrounds, and it's right next to the Queen's Bay Golf Course where various events take place also, like the kid's fishing contest in stocked golf course ponds, and sometimes car shows.

Basketball Courts
London Bridge Beach used to be known as State Beach, but it's changed a lot since it's State Beach days.  It also features covered picnic tables with BBQ's and lots of grass and trees.  The sandy beach main swimming area faces Thompson Bay, and the park borders the island side of Bridgewater Channel.  There are basketball courts, kids playgrounds, and one beautiful dog park.  Lots of events are held here too, in the past there's been Medieval Festivals where they had knights on horseback jousting and shot cannons into the lake, and every year there's a couple of local dog shows,  Dog's Day in the Park and Pooch Party.

Rotary Park/Beach used to be Mudshark Beach, totally undeveloped and the only road down was through a wash and you had to drive fast through sand traps or you got stuck and spent the next half hour digging your vehicle out of sand, but once you got there you parked your vehicle right on the beach, let your dogs out, and turned up your car stereo.  I do miss the old Mudshark Beach but Rotary is an awesome park and now everyone can go there and not have to worry about getting stuck in the sand!  Rotary Park/Beach is not dog-friendly, no dogs allowed.  It's an alcohol-free beach also.

Tinnell Memorial Sports Park is a skateboard and bmx park being built in beautiful Lake Havasu City Arizona. It will be Arizona's largest skate / bmx park at around 40,000 sq ft. It will be located just across the street from the aquatic center. The park is being built in memory of Patrick Tinnell, a local bmx enthusiasist who gave his life for his country in Iraq in April 2006. Our local skate park at Rotary Park is just not up with the times for what skaters and bikers need in a park. We have contracted with some huge names for the design and build of this park. California Skate Parks is going to do the build for us and award winning park designer and x- games designer Brian Harper designed this park for us. We've even got the Mayor, Mark Nexsen, involved in our efforts. We need about $1,00,000.00 to make this dream happen and so far we have about 1/3 of that. So take a look at the site, see what's new, get involved, donate -- be a part of something worthwhile for our community.

SARA Park BMX Track
The BMX Track at Sara Park in Lake Havasu City is a great place for the kids to get involved with competition in a safe and friendly environment. Lake Havasu City's BMX Track is sanctioned by the American Bicycle Association and boasts a design that is safe enough for the newer or the younger BMX riders yet technical enough for the seasoned BMX professional. The BMX Track at the popular Sara Park offers a great activity that stimulates sportsmanship and it's an exercise that is suitable for the whole family, and yes, even the parents will get on the track and get dirty for a few laps.
R/C Car Track at Rotary Park
Lake Havasu City provides many different free facilities for entertainment, such as the R/C Car track down at Rotary Park. Lake Havasu City's R/C Car Track is next to the water at Thompson's Bay and is a great place to take in the sunset while listening to sound of fine-tuned nitro-burning mini-motors. Lake Havasu's R/C Car Track even has lights for night racing, and and an on-sight water hose so that the track stays groomed and race ready at all times. The track is located down by the water at the very end of the park, so that the motors of the mini R/C Cars aren't a disturbance to the park patrons.
